The Pioneer Museums Annual Festival of Trees
|
The 2011 Festival of Trees was a giant success! Over 125 people came to enjoy the food created by Nelia Serapion of the Pacific Restaurant as well as the wine provided by the Blue Heron French Cheese Company at the Gala Event and Silent Auction on December 9th. The auction raised more than $11,000 toward increasing trails and building bridges at the Museum’s property at Kilchis Point.
Twelve full-sized trees, four table-top trees and many wreaths and centerpieces were created by local organizations, businesses and individuals for the auction. Several pieces of original Christmas-themed artwork were also donated for the auction.
